Monica Lind, Gunilla Linds dotter och dotterdotter till Anna och Anders Lind i Norråker, har gjort en framgångsrik karriär som illustratör och konstnär. För närvarande arbetar hon i New York men har också sitt arbete förlagt till Paris.

Monica presenteras med följande ord efter ett arbete med att illustrera Barbie dockor.
Monica was born in Stockholm, Sweden. She attended art school and then began her career in Paris as a fashion designer. After two successful years, she opened her own illustration studio where she created work for her growing list of international clients. Monica maintains residences in new York, Paris and Hydra. She is fluent in Swedish, French and English
“I like people to smile when they see my work. I look at the work and try to see even serious situations with a touch of humor. We need to have that to coexist. My mother used to draw for me when I was little. It made me laugh every day. I hope I bring out the same lightness in my work for others to enjoy”.
Monica´s hip whimsical style marries perfectly with Barbie dol´s edgy new attitude in Modern Circle Collection. Her stylish illustrations highlight each unique package, the perfect invitation into a cool urban world.
When Monica was in art school in Sweden, her goals were to have her illustrations appear i Vogue, the other was to illustrate Barbie. Both of which have now been achieved.
